Vacuum Cleaners
Vacuums are designed to suit a variety of applications and there are a number of aspects to consider when choosing an industrial vacuum cleaner.
-
Backpack Vacuums:
The most popular option for contract cleaners. Usually lightweight and easy to use. Worn on your back allowing the user to hold the wand with one hand, keeping the other free to move obstacles along the way
-
Wet/Dry Vacuums:
Ideal for jobs that involve both dry and wet messes to be cleaned. A normal vacuum isn't suitable for cleaning up wet dirt and rubbish and can damage the motor and internals of a vacuum not suited for the task
-
Dry Vacuums:
Another popular option for contact cleaners. Dry vacuums, sometimes referred to as drum vacuums or pull-along vacuums are usually lightweight and can be carried if desired. Dry canister vacuums are excellent for builders cleans, or other situations where heavy dirt is being collected. The dirt sits in the bottom of the drum and the motor, located on the top of the vacuum can suck, unobstructed by the collected debris and dirt.
-
Upright Vacuums:
Upright vacuums have the vacuum head attached to the body, as an all in one unit. This design is easy to move from room to room.
-
Hazardous Vacuums:
Hazardous vacuums are required when working with dust levels which could pose a health threat. These vacuums are designed with specialised filters, such as HEPA filters (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) or Ultra-Low Particulate Air filters. Vacuums for asbestos removal are specially rated.
-
Industrial Vacuums:
Industrial vacuums cleaners include a range of heavy-duty vacuum cleaners, suited for various industry sectors. These types of vacuums may require 3 phase power or may have an automatic shaker for its filter ensuring longer run time.
